Wine tasting with Gregory Brink Louw, owner and winemaker at Silvermist Wine Estate.
Silvermist is a unique, secluded estate situated on mountain slopes in the heart of the Cape Peninsula, a picturesque fifteen minutes from the Cape Town city centre. Surrounded by the Table Mountain nature reserve, Silvermist offers guests some of the most diverse and unspoilt terrain in the city, with uninterrupted views of the Cape Peninsula. Silvermist is the only organic wine farm in Constantia, and the wine that it produces is the product of love, passion and an unmoving care for both the natural environment and its people.
Greg is a captivating presenter and storyteller, and guests will have the opportunity to taste his exclusive organic wines and learn about the history of the Constantia valley and the establishment of the farm. Children can participate too – in a child-friendly grape juice tasting!

Drumstruck @ Silvermist show.
We are proud to bring our own version of Drumstruck back to African soil, where it all began.

The Drumstruck show at Silvermist is a scaled-down version of the international production, but includes the same elements of storytelling, learning, showmanship, and interactivity to our local audiences.
Facilitated by some of South Africa’s top percussionists and performers, the show creates a sense of Africa that is undeniably genuine and heartfelt. Audiences enter a space where an extensive and rare collection of indigenous African instruments is displayed, and are taken on a journey through the musical heritage of Southern Africa – from the first drum through to the newest high tech electronic drums.
Each audience member is provided with their own djembe drum and gets to play and sing along with the show, sharing in the collective celebration that exemplifies African music and
culture.

Drumstruck @ Silvermist is more than a show. It is also a Museum of Musical Instruments.
