The braai was delicious, with variety of meats, side dishes and dessert. While wine tasting was presented on the lawn overlooking beautiful mountains, the braai was served inside due to cold weather. Nevertheless, we enjoyed spectacular views of Sivlermist after the braai.

Greg’s wine tasting was really interesting (and delicious!) and his passion for what he does really shone through.
Drumstruck were awesome! The talent was incredible and I felt like I learnt a lot from the show, whilst being very entertained – it was such good fun! Mpho was brilliant, you realised how great a drummer she is as soon as you tried it for yourself 😄
Warren’s collection of musical instruments was really interesting too and his passion also shone through when we talked to him after the show.

Wine Tasting option on the lawn before the show at an extra cost. Wayne, winemaker was very engaging. We sampled 2 reds & 2 whites – all good. The servers are also the performers from the show. They do a mini performance during the tasting. We arrived 20 mins late due to Uber issues. We were seated discreetly & still managed to taste the 4 wines. Some snacks were left on tables. We were a group of 3 & shared a table with another 2 late arriving guests. They had tea available for non drinking guests.
We moved indoors for the show. Fab show – performers moved around the stage & nearby areas. The show was a little bit marred by fellow audience members recording long segments of the show on their cameras. It beats me why they can’t just enjoy the show.
At various points instruments were passed to the audience for interactive segments. It totally worked.
It was possible to buy a bottle of a Silvermist wine in the bar area to bring into the show.
After the show the performers made themselves available for photos. This was a lovely touch as they were very colourful & played up for the cameras. We got an amazing pic of my 95 year old mother in law with them
Afterwards there was a braai at an extra cost. The views of the Cape Town lights was fab from the braai area. We didn’t partake, so I can’t comment on the food. Once again the performers did another mini performance. It was a cool evening but there were blankets available – this was very thoughtful & much needed on the night we were there.
Overall a fab evening that was good value. I would return with other CT visitors.

Starting with a talk on the Constantia Valley wines, given by Silvermist owner and winemaker Gregory Louw. Then tasting the delicious wines of the Constantia Valley and Silvermist Wine Estate. This is followed by an amazing performance of African Drumming and Singing by talented musicians. The audience participation was more than enthusiastic, in the end the entire audience was playing African Musical Instruments. A wonderful Barbecue dinner with more Marimba music, looking out over Silvermist Vineyards,, rounded off an evening to remember! Thank you Warren for fabulous music and Gregory for fabulous wine!

Wine tasting and Drumstruck at Silvermist was truly the highlight of his visit and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone! Drumstruck at Silvermist is much more than just a show. It is a truly authentic cultural experience and immense fun! It is audience participation at its absolute finest!
Combine this thrilling experience with wine tasting at Silvermist, Constantia Valley’s only organic wine farm, and you have a cultural experience to rival any of Cape Town’s top attractions. With uninterrupted views of the Cape Peninsula, Silvermist provides a stunning backdrop for a perfect wine tasting experience.
Wine maker, Greg Louw, shares his extensive knowledge and experience about how to produce some of the Cape’s finest wines.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such an amazing time at Drumstruck. We had the wine tasting, the show, and the Braai afterwards. The wine tasting was sensational (bought quite a bit of it afterwards), the drum show was engaging, interactive, and a lot of fun, and the food afterwards was absolutely delicious. Our young children also had a great time and got to meet the dogs, the pigs, and the adopted duck. Very cute.
We would definately visit again, and would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Everyboy loved the evening and experience. Gregory was amazing with the wine tasting and shared some incredible Constantia wines with us that are not available commercially. Warren is an incredible host and the inspiration and creativity behind the actual Drumstruck show. The show was epic and the entire audience gets to drum and make music. And then the dinner afterwards – it has taken the benchmark of what a South African braai can be to new levels. Thank you to all involved

Set in an intimate theatre the cast take you on a journey through time and Africa. Such energy and talent! Great fun for the whole family.

The Drumstruck group were fabulous got the audience to participate in the story. Extremely clued up on all the different reed instruments and drums.Time flew by. This is definitely the best show. Highly recommended for all ages. Worth the visit
